CPME Mission Statement
The mission of the Council is to promote the quality of graduate education, postgraduate education, certification, and continuing education. By confirming these programs meet established standards and requirements, the Council serves to protect the public, podiatric medical students, and doctors of podiatric medicine.

CPME Residency & Fellowship Annual Reports Delayed
The 2024 CPME Annual Report for residencies and fellowships is not yet open for programs. CPME is in the process of creating a new portal for submission of the Annual Report. We anticipate that the report will be open in the coming weeks, and we will extend the due date of the report accordingly. CPME will send multiple emails when the Annual Report is open for submission.

Call for Third-Party Comments
- The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Podiatric Medicine, submit third-party comments by October 1, 2024
- The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Podiatric Medicine, submit third-party comments by December 1, 2024
Comments must relate specifically to the Council’s requirements as published in CPME 120, Standards and Requirements for Accrediting Colleges of Podiatric Medicine. Please submit third-party comments to Heather Stagliano, Executive Director, Council on Podiatric Medical Education. The full notice can be read here.
