The mission of the Council is to promote the quality of graduate education, postgraduate education, certification, and continuing education. By confirming these programs meet established standards and requirements, the Council serves to protect the public, podiatric medical students, and doctors of podiatric medicine.

Call for Comment – CPME 120/130 Documents (Colleges)
The CPME is seeking input on the document review process for CPME 120, Standards and Requirements for Accrediting Colleges of Podiatric Medicine and 130, Procedures for Accrediting Colleges of Podiatric Medicine. Please complete a survey seeking input on crucial elements of these college documents by January 15, 2025. The full notice can be read here.
